URBAN WINE & JAZZ WALK

The Urban Wine & Jazz Walk is a self-guided tasting tour that encourages participants to explore local bars and restaurants, sample fabulous wines, and experience great music along the way. Sip, savor and saunter your way to various local bars, conveniently located along the light rail from uptown to downtown (making it a cinch to get around). Each participating location offers wine samples for $2 or $3, which includes a delicious snack (while supplies last). Bring cash and tip your servers. Print maps will be available at all participating locations and at the Downtown Info Center (1 E. Washington St., Ste. 230). See website for full participant list.

SCHNEPF FARMS' PEACH FESTIVAL

The annual event features hay rides to the orchards, live music, train rides, carousel rides and more, peachy pancake breakfast, peachy sampling pavilion with food ranging from sweets to salsa’s, water activities, peachy arts and crafts booths, peach pies, peach cinnamon rolls, peach cookies, peach cobbler and more.

PHOENIX COMIC FEST

Phoenix Comic Fest is the signature pop culture experience of the Southwest. It presents the chance for fans to meet with their favorite creators, actors, authors and get their autograph (and have a photo taken with them!). Comicon brings out the top comic book writers and artists in the industry, features many genres from pop culture (anime, authors, horror, and steampunk) and presents a full weekend of events and activities for you and your family.

SPRING ARIZONA RESTAURANT WEEK

This statewide affair offers foodies a wealth of dining opportunities and the chance to get outside their own neighborhood and try something new. From sizzling Southwestern and soothing comfort foods to five-star dining and international fare – it’s all on the table during Arizona Restaurant Week. So prepare your taste buds and dig in. More than 120 restaurants will be offering three-course prix fixe menus for either $33 or $44. Check the event's website for a list of participating restaurants.
